String Orchestra
Our String Orchestra musicians play engaging pieces of music, in parts, on violin, viola and cello. Most members of our string orchestra have progressed through our Beginner Strings and Middle Strings. The String Orchestra perform at the Opera House each year in the Festival of Instrumental Music.
Middle Strings
Middle Strings provides a path for children to move beyond Beginner Strings and further develop their violin and cello skills.
Beginner Strings
Students who join Beginner Strings gain their first experience of playing violin and cello together, learning music for open strings and first finger position. This is available to students from Kindergarten.
